SGIG E152  “Panel Discussion on Forgiveness”

At the beginning of 2022 “Growing In Grace Ministries Canada” hosted a ‘Healing Life’s Hurts Through Understanding Forgiveness’ conference.  Today’s episode is one of the panel discussions that happened during the conference.  Sometimes the ‘panel’ conversations are just as important as the ‘sessions’.  Enjoy today’s re-broadcast, may your soul be encouraged by what you hear today.

FIRST ADVENT: Hope

A season of ‘contemplation’ and ‘waiting’ is upon us.  The next few weeks will focus on different aspects of the traditional ‘advent’ series.  If you need some gentle encouragement, this series will hit the spot.  Enjoy.

SGIG E151  “The Journey Of Growing & Unlearning” Pt 2

There are stages in our life where we have epiphanies or a rude awakening to something we were not aware of.  In our faith journey, it is exactly the same.  The things we believed as a child about God change when we become young adults.  Very few take the time to hear those who have grown into full adulthood in their faith maturity.  They have much to offer us.  Perhaps recognizing some of the ‘markers’ along the way will be encouraging to those who are not sure they are growing, but rather may be afraid they are shrinking or losing their faith all together.  Here is some good news, “it isn’t YOUR Faith’ in the first place and you have not lost it, nor can you.  Enjoy this video!!

“Saints, Not Sinners’ – Celebrating How God Sees Us – Part 4 (of 4)

Saints & Sinners, terms we usually hear when we speak of someone who has a track record of ‘good’ behaviour or ‘bad’ behaviour.  What if our behaviour does not determine our true identity?  What if we really are ‘already’ saints and when we believe it, we will act more like who we already are??  In this series we will unpack what it means to be a saint but also some history behind the term.

The final two messages in this mini series will focus on ‘how God sees us’.  Our subjective perspective can be altered by circumstances and emotions, but how ‘God/Trinity’ sees us, is how they see us! Enjoy!!

SGIG E149  “A Tribute To Paul Gray” (aired on “Grace To All”)

Todays program is a rebroadcast of a tribute given to Paul Gray who passed away a number of weeks ago.  His life impacted so many people in so many beautiful ways.  Since Paul has been a regular guest on Still Growing In Grace, it is fitting to have this final episode of ‘Grace To All with Paul Gray’ aired here on SGIG one more time.  He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.  Rest in the Peace of Christ my friend!!

SGIG E148  “How To Process Unlearning Difficult Theology Without Losing Your Faith” Pt 2 of 2

With Richard Murray and Bill Thrasher!  Enjoy this great conversation as we dig into ‘how to process’ some ‘deconstruction or unlearning’ topics without over running the base or losing your faith all together.  It can ‘feel’ scary when we hear others who seem to ‘throw out’ Jesus completely and yet deep down, it just doesn’t seem like that is the direction you are heading.  How can you ‘hear them out’ and not have to join them on the ‘off ramp’ they seem to have taken.  Perhaps this two part conversation will give you some ‘hope’.
