Has anyone ever said to you, ‘The Bible plainly says’? I have good news for you, it does not. The Bible is never to be read as a flat text, and it seems to be filled with many contradictions. This is likely because we were never meant to read it as a book where every single word is equally true! The writers of each book only had a glimpse into the character of who God was and truly wrote down what they believed to be true. However, most of it was ‘incomplete’ at best, and yet pointed to the one who would complete the true revelation of who God truly is. Jesus.
