When are physically hurt, we tell the Doctor what happened so that the Doctor knows how to treat best.

When we are emotionally hurt or traumatized,  often there is a need to tell the therapist what happened, so they can know best how to treat you.  Love/Agape is the safest One to have on the healing journey with us.  Helping us remember ‘Who’ the Healer is, and that the Healer is safe.

Each of us have faced loss, pain, and sometimes deep hurts.  Those hurts can scar us for life.  Agape/Love can heal the pain of those scars but the scars may remain as a reminder.  They remind us of our humanity.  They remind us we all have been hurt and have hurt others.  They remind us that the scar does not define ‘who’ we are, instead they remind us of the path we have already walked.  Maybe we can learn how to let Agape/Love heal the pain from those scars if we have not yielded to Agape/Love yet. There is Hope.  Hope for healing.

Maybe it is not so much about learning ‘new’ teaching as it is understanding and applying what we have already been taught.  What if we celebrated the value of ‘being reminded’ instead of trying to learn new things.  This is where we may find ‘hope’ when things are not going well, as well as when things are going well.  If we open our eyes to see, we will be stunned at the overflowing grace that has ‘already’ been communicated to us.  We will see it in the hurting, the outcast, those with less, those who have lost, those who have forgiven much, and in those who grieve.  We may even see it in the words on pages in ‘sacred texts’.  Enjoy!

TODAY: FINAL MESSAGE in this series, we look at Chapter 7, and the summary of what it looks like to live in the kingdom of God.  There isn’t a threat of eternal damnation in this chapter, others have taught that there is.  However, the message Jesus seems to be sharing here is one of the fruit of living in the kingdom and the consequences of ‘not’.  Enjoy!!
